Like many of our athletes, Sophia can be found enjoying cycling with a huge smile on her face at all times. She is not only a fierce competitor, but also a kind human being. Over the course of her career racing BMX, she has racked up some impressive accolades – 2016 Sports Illustrated High School Athlete of the Month, 2-time National #1 Amateur Girl, 2017 USA BMX Grand National Pro Women Winner, 2019 Team USA Elite World Champion member, and 2019 Team USA Pan American Games team member. Off the track, Sophia spreads her passion for education and cycling in schools across the country as the Marketing Coordinator for the USA BMX Foundation. Working on her Business Management/Deaf Studies degree with a 3.6 GPA, she embodies what it takes to be a successful student-athlete through hard work and dedication.
