ABOUT THE JAM

Since 2012, Mongoose has hosted an annual Jam event with its professional BMX freestyle team. These Jam events bring together the Mongoose team and their peers in BMX for an authentic blend of camaraderie and competition to grow and attract newcomers to the sport. The unique event started as a pro-only competition at Camp Woodward in Woodward, PA, then became a Team Video competition judged by fans, and today, the event has evolved into an Amateur Jam where young people can show off their skills for prizes and awards from Mongoose pros.

I THINK JAMS LIKE THIS GET KIDS AND RIDERS EXCITED. IT BRINGS THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER AND EVERYONE GETS INSPIRED BY IT... BEING FOCUSED ON THE YOUNG GENERATION AND THE KIDS IS JUST A SICK CONCEPT, AND I'M REALLY STOKED THAT IT HAPPENED.

THE MONGOOSE AM JAM IS THE NEXT EVOLUTION WITH OUR EVENTS. WHILE THE MONGOOSE JAMS HAVE ALWAYS HAD AN AMATEUR ELEMENT, THE AM JAM IS MORE FOCUSED ON UP AND COMING RIDERS TO HELP GROW THE SPORT!
