Pat Casey Wins NORA Cup Transition Rider of the Year
It’s been inspiring to see the amount of support that the BMX community has given to Pat Casey's family over the past few months. Recently, Pat was awarded the Our BMX Number One Rider Award (NORA) for Transition Rider of the Year, and his family was in Hastings, UK, to accept the award on Pat's behalf. It was amazing to see Reid Casey riding and hoisting the trophy for his dad.
NORA recognizes the industry’s top riders and videos in nine categories, including: Ramp, Street, Dirt, Flatland, Women’s, Video Part, Video, and Readers’ Choice. The winners are chosen by the pros themselves, with Our BMX viewers voting for the annual NORA Cup Viewer’s Choice Rider Of The Year Award. NORA was created in 1979 by BMX Action Magazine.
