Nikita Ducarroz Takes the Win at Extreme Barcelona

Mongoose pro Nikita Ducarroz just had a great weekend at the Urban World Series in Barcelona, Spain!  Well, it’s pretty hard not too when the contest is right on the beach.

"Barcelona Extreme was so much fun!” said Nikita. "The course was nice to ride, it was right on the beach, and I was feeling really good on my bike."

Going into the contest Nikita decided she needed to switch gears a little from the UCI World Championships last month. "My goal was to go there and really work on doing the things I know I can do and not letting my head get in the way," explained Nikita. "I definitely did that and coming in first was a huge bonus!"

Not only did Nikita collect some points from this UCI C1 event for Paris, but she also got to ride a dream spot, the famous sea walls in Barcelona!  That was definitely a great weekend!
